The Software as a Service (SaaS) Model

The LiveProcess patented Networked Emergency Management System is a computer-implemented process that streamlines the creation of best practice standardized emergency plans for healthcare facilities and organizations.

The first of its kind in healthcare emergency preparedness, the system is comprised of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications that can be accessed through any web browser. SaaS applications run on computing systems that exist in a data center on the Internet, not physically within the customer's operating system.

SaaS applications in healthcare have become increasingly preferred in recent years because they are significantly less costly to operate and maintain. Compared with the big sticker prices of many license-based systems, the SaaS subscription-based model means a hospital or organization pays a monthly or annual fee for its employees to access and use the system, eliminating the need for a significant upfront capital expense.

Additionally, SaaS applications don't typically require IT commitment, budget, or ongoing support, meaning your organization does not need a systems integrator to install and integrate the product with your existing applications, or dedicate any of your in-house IT staff to implement and maintain the system. All ongoing management, including periodic upgrades, is executed automatically for you by LiveProcess and all of your content is regularly backed up on our company's secure servers.
