Executive Biographies

Nathaniel Weiss, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Nathaniel has been an inventor and entrepreneur for over 20 years. Weiss graduated with a BSEE at the University of Pennsylvania where studying languages and technology he developed the patented technology for translating sound to sheet music via the computer. He received the largest grant ever awarded by the Ben Franklin Science and Technology Center and started GVOX Inc. GVOX built partnerships with Fender Guitar Corp, Excite@Home, McGraw Hill, etc. After the events of 9/11, Weiss recognized that hospitals and other healthcare organizations lacked a "common language" for emergency preparedness and incident management. He invented and patented the original technology for this market, started LiveProcess Inc., sold the first key accounts, raised the necessary capital, and built a strong management team. In 1995, Weiss was selected as Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 1997, Eastern Pennsylvania Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
